Custom Thermoformers of Engineered and Commodity Plastics
PENZ has a long history in custom
vacuum forming.
Our experience and technical proficiencies have allowed us to service
a wide range of industries. Thermoformed parts offer cost and weight-reduction
savings. For example, replacing a fiberglass product with a thermoformed
part will reduce the overall weight by an average of 30 percent and
result in a real cost savings.
Thermoformed tools cost much less than injection-molded tools,
and because we build our own patterns and molds in-house, we are
able to provide shorter lead times on prototype and production tools,
not to mention the added cost savings of our in-house capabilities.
Major industries that have used our thermoforming products include:
- Educational
- Institutional
- Medical
- Recreational
- Security
- Truck/trailer
| Our thermoformers include both shuttle and rotary
types for higher-speed production. The machines vary in size
up to a 4' x 8' capacity and handle the following
materials: |
- ABS (weatherable)
- Acrylic
- Conductive ABS/PVC
- FR
- HIPS
- Kydex
- PETG
- Polycarbonate
- Polyethylene
- Radel®

We make our thermoforming patterns, molds and fixtures in-house.
This allows us to produce and present a thermoformed prototype sample
to a customer within five to seven working days. Production tools
are then typically completed within two weeks after approval of the
prototype samples. No quantity is too small - or too large.
Whether you need a prototype or a million pieces, your job will be
handled by seasoned professionals.
